George and Wandle Mace House

George Mace and his father, Wandle Mace, were master carpenters and built this one-and-a-half story, frame, hall and parlor house with a crosswing on the east end, in 1883.  When Wandle and his son George, moved to Kanab they built a grist mill and a saw mill.  George built furniture and fine cabinets.  He owned cattle and horses and was a horticulturist.  The present owner is Gregory Castle.
