Brigham Adelbert Riggs, Jr., built this craftsman bungalow
with gable roof and native stone windowsills. The bricks were hand made from
local soil. His son, Elson, moved back in this home in 1944. Elson’s wife, Ida, did not like the way
the sand blew under the French doors, so she replaced them with windows. Elson and Ida then searched the hills
until they found identical stone to match the other windowsills. The present owners are Lynn and Lon
Riggs.
